Water Utility

The Village of Port Williams provides water service to about 370 residents within its boundaries. The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board approves the rates as applied for by the Village.

The rates approved for the Village as of April 1, 2012 are as follows:

b) Consumption Rates

For all consumption $.753 per cubic meter per quarter.

Payment is due upon receipt of water bill.  When payment is made after 30 days from the date rendered as shown on the bill, interest will be charged at 1.25% per month.

Getting Connected and disconnected

To obtain an application for Port Williams water service or to cancel your existing service, one of the following forms must be completed and returned to the Village office during office hours.
